Romantic view point restored after years on The Golden Hill in Cheb
Since only the column footings survived of the viewing summerhouse on The Golden Hill in Cheb, the council of the foundation fund has selected it as another monument to be restored. In January 2010 a public collection was announced and project documentation was prepared in following months together with the building permission request. The public collection amounted to 55 thousands crowns.
In the following two years competitive tendering was opened to contractors and the project documentation was altered to allow barrier-free access. Construction commenced in 2012 and the ceremonial opening of the viewing summerhouse took place in May 2013.
